day of action

Wednesday, September 23, 2020

Thank you for participating in what will be a memorable Day of Action. We have never faced such an uncertain time, but you showed up to learn, engage, and directly support our community in so many ways and we could not be more thankful for your time and energy.
We were incredibly inspired by the Virtual Keynote with Mari Copeny, the projects that took place all over the community, and the many workshops that helped educate and motivate our community to be stronger and more united for our neighbors and community members.
#DayOfAction2020.
If you have any photos or thoughts to share on social media, please use the hashtag #DayOfAction2020 so we can share your posts.

Action.
If you’re looking for more ways to get involved, here is a good list to start with:
Fill out your 2020 Census- The census population count determines how many representatives each state will have in Congress for the next 10 years and how much federal funding communities will receive for roads, schools, housing, and social programs.
Register to vote- If you’ve already registered, double-check your registration and make a plan for voting this year. Early voting is open until October 31st.
ALICE Awareness Week- Save the Date for our second ALICE Awareness Week – Oct 26-30.  This year we will focus on equipping you with tools to advocate, education you can put to work, and actions you can take to support ALICE.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out our Facebook page to see an album of photos from Day of Action 2020!

A big thank you to our Day of Caring Sponsors:
